Why did you choose the title ‘Young HeartThrob’ for your debut album?
I think saying that has been my thing. Like since 2014, I been saying it. Alot of people don’t know but it’s the name of my company as well. So for my first album I just felt it would be right to name it that.
Which tracks on the album are your favorites?
This is a pretty hard question because I love all my records. But for me my most favorite is probably High Speed, Learning, End Like That, Don’t Worry About It, Thinking Bout U. I have a lot of favorites, but I do have favorites.
Who were artist that you grew inspiration from growing up?
Alot of artist that inspired to be who I am today I would say Frank Ocean, Andre 3000, Lauryn Hill. Being young growing up I really loved Ashanti & Ja-Rule.
Any artist that you would like to work with on any upcoming project in the future?
Frank Ocean, I would love to work with Kendrick Lamar that would be fire. I only want to work with people I genuinely love. I want to work with Young Thug, yeah that would be cool.
Growing up In Atlanta, you mentioned that Andre 3000 is someone you drew inspiration from growing up. Why was that?
Honestly, the way he flows, raps and the way he puts words together. The way he says things are so cool. Someone can say the same thing as him but he will say it in a totally different way. The way he tells stories. His storytelling.
Are their any current artist coming from Atlanta that you like?
I like Gunna. 6lack.
The super bowl is in ATL this year and Maroon 5 is the half-time super bowl act, do you believe the NFL could’ve chose someone else to represent ATL?
I think Outkast would’ve been the move. I think Outkast would’ve been crazy at the super-bowl. Even like they could’ve did something really cool where they pick multiple Atlanta artist and the ones who have music together. It could’ve been Thug, It could’ve been the Migos, and Cardi could’ve came out and then Lil Baby could’ve came out it. It could’ve been huge. So huge. I think they kinda dropped the ball on that. Shouts out to the Super bowl, shout-out to the NFL.
You have a dope style, explain your personal style and did you have any style inspirations growing up?
For me my style is like. I like what I like, I like cool stuff. I like leather, straps and I like black. I think what inspired my style was when ASAP Rocky came out that was like a moment for fashion.

Are you a big sneakerhead?
Yes, I’m super into sneakers actually.
How many pairs of sneakers do you have in your closet by an estimate?
I probably got like 100 pairs of shoes in my house that belong to me. I’m being modest.
What pair of kicks are your favorite right now?
I feel like I need some new shoes. But, I like my Jordan 12’s. They like my favorite right now for some reason.
What is your opinion on the state of hip-hop, Today, Will.I.am came out and said that Hip-hop is at the lowest it’s ever been. How do you feel about that and do you think Hip-hop is making progress?
I think on the other hand this is a really great moment for the youth and music, females and for everybody getting to have their moment. On the other hand I think it’s very saturated with alot of the same sound and alot of the same people, not alot of people have much to say. But, we still have that moment my mom said the other day listen to these lyrics from (Sugarhill Gang – Rapper’s Delight) like Da-Hip-Hop-Da-Hip to like c’mon bro so it’s like that didn’t make sense, what was he talking about. But we not gone say it was the lowest point in hip-hop because he wasn’t saying nothing. So I don’t know. Will. I. am is like a OG, so for him to say that obviously I see where he coming from, but hopefully history will repeat itself.
Any album that you’re bumping lately other than your own?
Jaden Smith’s album is really fire it just dropped not to long ago. A few song’s on championships that I like. East Atlanta Love Letter was fire.
Last words to your fans.
I will say if you have ‘Young HeartThrob’ I love you and appreciate you. Keep going. We going crazy go get your tickets to Young Hearthrob the tour. Feb 5th, we going crazy. It’s a movie.
