adidas Originals by Alexander Wang returns for Season 4, launching on November 14 at The STASHED. Wang edits the most iconic elements from past seasons of the collaboration, splicing them with fragments from adidas archive through a unique photocopy process- like a two-dimensional collage. The collection consists of 18 pieces of apparel and 4 styles of footwear. The subversive unisex collection is a link between past and present, recognizing the ephemeral nature of fashion today.
The collection is defined by three stories: photocopy, disjoin, and AW essentials, each one featuring its own distinct take on track tops, track pants, shorts, tees, and dresses. The photocopy range melds Wang signatures with iconic adidas football jerseys. The disjoin series is Wang’s take on “Frankensteining”- combining rich velour with jersey and nylon while playing with adidas logo and branding. Finally, the AW essentials feature curvilinear cutouts and inside-out three stripes to define the essence of collaboration: easy to wear garments with a sense of Alexander Wang rebellion.
