BBC Icecream celebrates its 15th year anniversary with exclusive releases, including special collaborations with Nigos’s apparel brand, Human Made, and storied graphic designer, SK8thing, for a full circle experience. The Nigo designed Human Made x BBC Icecream 15th Year Anniversary collaboration T-shirt recalls the iconic partnership between him and Pharrell Williams, which culminated into many creative ventures— with BBC Icecream being one of the most successful. The commemorative collaboration, produced in Japan in extremely limited quantities, features a nostalgic photo-realistic print of Nigo’s Running Dog, Cones & Bones and BBC Astronaut Helmet chains crafted by Jacob the Jeweler. Worn simultaneously, Nigo’s ostentatious chain ensemble helped solidify these three graphics into BBC Icecream’s most recognized motifs.
Sk8thing is an individual who needs no introduction, a true icon to streetwear and an important element to the very core of BBC Icecream—all fitting reasons for a 15th year anniversary partnership. Sk8thing has helped shape the aesthetics of BBC Icecream, making Pharrell and Nigo’s vision a reality. From the iconic space-age inspired BBC “Helmet Logo” to the Icecream “Running Dog”, every logo he designed has taken a life of its own. His 15th Anniversary artwork is no different; it is symbolic of the lasting relationship between Sk8thing and BBC Icecream. Two colorways will be released, with each color limited to 75 pieces—all of which have been hand numbered, making it a must-have for any true collector of BBC Icecream.
Last but not least, for the first time ever, BBC Icecream revives the OG Cocoa color way, first seen worn by Pharrell and Chad Hugo in the early 2000s.
All items will be made available to the public during ComplexCon, November 3rd- 4th, at Billionaire Boys Club’s booth (C5).
