Jacquees: Yup, this is my first time ever.
Any performances you’re looking forward to other than your own?
I’m looking forward to everybody.
Where is the current state of R&B at the moment?
I think it’s in a good place, I like alot of the R&B records that’s out. It’s alot of artist out right now, that’s dope.
Which artist growing up did you pay the most attention to?
I payed attention to Michael Jackson. Alot of artist too, but Michael Jackson being my biggest influence.
What’s your favorite Michael Jackson Album?
I was in love with Jackson 5 also, my favorite song from the Jackson 5 was ‘I Want You Back.’ I sung it at my first talent show and I won.
Is their a song that you did, that you didn’t expect to blow up as big as it did?
I feel like every record we pick is gone go up. So it’s no record on the radio right now that I didn’t think was gone blow up. But honestly, it’s one feature that I did for the Coorelation DJ’s with T.I. and I didn’t know that song was gone be that big. It’s called ‘Certified.’ It did it’s thing and I didn’t know it was gone be that big.
New music on the way?
I’m dropping a FYB album, FYB that’s my label. So we working on our stuff right now and we getting ready to add some new records to my album.
