Good Life Music Group’s Law G is going very hard to solidify his name in the rap game. After the successful release of “Know Me” featuring Gucci Mane and produced by Zaytoven which did well over 300k streams and counting, he is back with more heat. He recently dropped his new single “Good Girl” featuring YFN Lucci. The fire record hosted by official Streets A&R OG Bigga Rankin is doing numbers and is taking Law G straight to the top. I recently had a convo with him to get to know the artist behind the infectious record. Check it out below!
RESPECT.: Hey Law, we see you definitely have a lot going on. You’re a very busy person these days.
Yea, ever since we dropped the new song things have been picking up a lot faster. Everything I’ve done and this new record really has people tuned in.
RESPECT.: Where are you based?
I live in ATL. Atlanta is really the place to be but you have to make a lot of noise because it is very saturated.
RESPECT.: You’re definitely making noise. Why do you think that is? For those that haven’t heard your music yet can you describe it.
My music has a lot of feeling. I am different as a person and my music is different from any other artist.
RESPECT.: I see you are affiliated with a label. Can you tell us about that?
The label is called Good Life Music Group. I wasn’t the first artist but I have a lot of focus on me thanks to my buzz. We have been running for 4 plus years and they’ve been really pushing me. People got to hear more of my songs when we released a compilation tape. Some of my solo songs were on there and people began to embrace it. In this industry, you are by yourself if you don’t have a team. We are like a family. I feel like it is my label too.
RESPECT.: You recently dropped your new single “Good Girl” with YFN Lucci and Bigga Rankin. How did that come about?
Bigga Rankin is a big DJ here and that’s like family. We’ve done a lot of work together and he really put a stamp behind the song. Lucci was dope. It was pretty cool. I took Lucci’s verse and the beat then made the song around it. I remember how excited Lucci was to hear his verse and it turned out to be a really great song.
