After the success of the first apparel and footwear collection this past January, PUMA and 90’s streetwear king, FUBU are back once more. Taking a step away from their hip-hop favorites, FUBU has re-imagined the PUMA Tsugi Jun.
This February, the PUMA x FUBU Tsugi Jun launches in the iconic FUBU red, paired with black detailing. The Tsugi Jun features a red and black weaved knitted textile upper and a satin lateral lacing system for the ultimate fit. With black hits along the sole and big, bold FUBU branding featured along the heel strap, it keeps the 90’s inspiration prevalent throughout the collection.
You can’t think about 90’s streetwear without thinking about FUBU, the definitive hip- hop brand literally for the people: For Us By Us. FUBU was one of the first streetwear brands that brought inspiration from the streets to create clothing for the streets. Creators, Daymond John, Keith Perrin, J. Alexander Martin and Carl Brown are true examples of entrepreneurship, determination, excellence and boldness. They created a legacy of their own that lives on through today’s current cultural landscape. This is the inspiration behind the PUMA x FUBU Legacy Tee, an additional piece to the February collection. The tee comes in a crisp black with large lettering asking “What Will Your Legacy Look Like?”
You can purchase the PUMA x FUBU Tsugi Jun $130 and PUMA x FUBU Legacy Tee $35 on PUMA.com beginning February 16th.
