DJ PUNisha is a Virginia native who has gradually taken over his state’s club scene since his college debut at Norfolk State University in 2009. He’s since had a chance to work with some of the best in the game, including Pusha-T, Trey Songz, Young Money Yawn and Masego, just to name a few.
Now, he’s taken a new but traditional spin on his career by creating music with some of these artists. In 2016, he released his first offering “Raw Bass” with seasoned fire spitters Sic Mic and Nottz‘s DMP member Boogie. He treats listeners with his new official single “Stay Down” featuring Virginia newcomers Uriyah and Rizzo Da Great. The track is a melodic southern banger with an inspirational message.
Aside from his successful career as a DJ, he’s created a name for himself through a monopoly of sold out shows and events up and down the East coast. Co-creating Virginia’s leading party and entertainment movement known as The Traptastic, he has supported independent hometown artists such as Young Crazy, Levi Carter, Masego, Billy Mercury, Treez Lowkey and more.
