Artist Mack Wilds has been pretty much out of the lime light, even after his 2013 debut New York: A Love Story and — more recently — this year’s AfterHours, both of which can be described as “pretty calm, laid back and almost sensual.” Earlier today, he decided to come back to the music scene with visuals for two tracks from AfterHours; “Explore” (one of the project’s top singles) and “Bonnie & Clyde,” featuring Wale.
Both videos were directed by Mack himself along with Charles Todd. While watching them both, it would seem as though the intention was to allow viewers to take part in a full story, which depicts Mack’s constant struggle with temptation.
To explain this, Mack said:
We explore the idea of that fleeting love; how a blend of desire and curiosity lead us down a path we’ll willingly follow. At times, we lose ourselves to lust with no regard for the consequences of our actions. But we’re only human, right?
