One of Griselda’s finest rappers, Conway, brings the rock & roll on “Moroccan Waters” featuring Meyhem Lauren.
The song, produced by Daringer, is the latest from the Buffalo rap star with the video being filmed in the city he calls home. Shot near the city’s outer harbor, the video is as gravelly and tough as the beat the rappers spit over.
Kicking off with a distorted and classic guitar riff, Conway is quick to tout “f*ck the shooter, I keep a gun up in my reach.” The rapper is mellow but focused over the beat, which is a mix of Jimi Hendrix meets New York rap.
The rapper aims a gun around in the video while his crew stands on a rooftop looking accomplished. Conway continues firing off bar after bar, saying he doesn’t need money lent to him as he “had to come up like the DVD, in order to “blow Fendi money.”
In addition to Conway is Lauren, who comes off just as aggressive. To begin, Lauren raps “dirty looks will get your face sterilized by a clean slap,” exhibiting confidence and an equally posted flow. As a result, it’s enough for the song to go toe-to-toe with some of Conway’s more recent releases.
