Does Earl responding to the “hate” not demonstrate how often this topic comes up? I admit that not having a “serious” (I guess by “serious” you mean prominent or recognized?) person to quote does make this article seem a little unnecessary, but sometimes the anonymous crowd is louder than its leaders. Accordingly, we didn’t have anyone to specifically point fingers at; all we had was Earl’s reaction. I feel like that’s sufficient.

Random people hemming on twitter seem to be the only Earl haters out there in terms of people saying he’s fallen off–has anybody serious actually said this? Why even waste time talking about it?
