I agree with you that, when they were not being interrupted, the hip-hop side made far better points. I stated that in the piece. My problem with the debate was that the talking times were lopsided and there were far more people speaking against it than for it. 

The opposition needed to be better informed on the genre before speaking out against it. A murder lawyer would not go in front of a judge having no knowledge of the case, so they shouldn&#039;t either.]]></description>

It wasn&#039;t a &#039;fully-fledged attack&#039;, it was a debate with a pro and anti side, and since I agree with you that hip-hop is often a scapegoat, I was damn glad that the pro-hip-hop side were WAY better than the anti side. Of course there are dickheads who think that hip-hop is dead or that it causes social problems, and sure I disagree completely with them, but that doesn&#039;t mean this was a shit debate. On the contrary, after it ended everyone mobbed the stage!]]></description>
