There should have been tours in support of the film’s opening, Friday on the plaza on the Today Show, etc etc culminating with some kind of Tribe/Native Tongue concert in NYC on the day of the film’s opening.

They missed an opportunity to expose new audiences to a back catalog that almost everyone going to see the film already has on cassette, CD and MP3. Again, it just seems a major waste because of some perceived slight that in the end just seems misguided.

BTW I saw Tribe at Rock the Bells last summer and the show was phenomenal, so I don’t know where they stand now as far as the “beef”
