Go-go is kind of analogous to the baile funk of Rio de Janeiro…it’s not the kind of thing you can just go snap photos of, as it’s less concert, more hyper-territorial social…something. Hard to put your finger on it.

We can only hope! I’d love to see a spread in RESPECT all about “the go-go” — it’s such an amazing, dark, sweaty, gritty experience that I haven’t yet seen captured well in photos.
