Former RESPECT. cover man and perennial trouble man T.I. brought his hater-proof anthem, “Hello” to Jimmy Kimmel’s massive outdoor stage last night. Missing collaborator Cee-Lo who did hook duties on the single, the always gracious T.I.P. dedicated the track to his hefty homie. Kimmel’s house band makes the already glitzy ATL beat shine even brighter and makes for a good addition to the southern spitter’s jovial stage presence. Compare the studio and live versions with corresponding Soundcloud and Youtube links below. Also peep T.I.’s other live performance that night, “Ball” and be sure to cop his recently-released LP, Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head over at iTunes. The weight of kingship seems to have lightened, if only for a night.
