Vic Mensa is no stranger to slapping microphones upside the head, especially when it comes to on-air radio spitting. The ‘net MC visited BBC Radio 1 while he was across the pond and tore into a choppy, rugged beat with a self-assured beat reminding those listening of his prowess and what he’s already accomplished. Quickly, though, Vic moves into some off-the-top spitting which he always manages to impress with in a free-wheeling, almost-off-the-tightrope kind of spontaneity. For the rest of the ten minute (!) performance, Victor zips back and forth, seemingly, between written and freestyle with a true lifer’s ease.
