Graffiti: JR’s First Solo Show

The French street artist JR continues to get bigger and bigger, and we’re not just talking about his works of art.  This past year he won the TED Prize  to turn the art world “inside out” and took over Kevin Scharf’s iconic mural on the Bowery. Now, to start 2012 with a bang, JR’s opened his first solo exhibition show in Paris. Since we can’t make it to France to enjoy the art firsthand, here’s a short video with director Guillaume Cagniard recapping  JR’s “Encrages” Exhibition.

The show will continue in Paris’ The Galerie Perrotin until January 7th, so if happen to be in the city of lights let us know what you think.
