The Basement is a new creative space for unsigned artist to be heard and seen. While it introduces a showcase experience to the fans and audience, The Basement is more than a showcase. It’s a “vibe” for the younger culture to network with an extra step closer to the industry. Some of the industry’s best caught on to the wave it has started for themselves.

The Basement was created by CEO of Instor3 Management, and music executive/A&R Ericka Coulter. Coulter started this platform to give new artist the opportunity to be heard in front of the right individuals while hanging at the venue. Premiering on August 30th of 2017, Coulter wanted to create a vibe that has not been seen in Los Angeles, as well as give unheard artist who may not have the followers a chance to step on the stage and display their talent for the many individuals hanging in The Basement. The plan have worked and has been buzzing since it first appeared on the scene.

Recently, there were many appearances from all different type of influencers, executives, producers, artist, and tastemakers. We The Best Music Group artist Kent JonesGuapdad 4000, A.CHAL, Dreamville songstress Ari Lennox, Rich The Kid, Love and Hip-Hop Reality star/producer, A1 Bentley and singer/song writer, Lyrica Anderson and social media influencer Kendall Kyndall were in attendance to see what was the hype all about and they sure weren’t disappointed at all. The Basement is a cultivating space for artist to display their talents, but what makes this showcase unique is you never know who’s hanging in The Basement.
