Scotty Brown Keeps It Trill In “Woods” Visual

Residing in the “Land of the Screw,” Scotty Brown stands as one of the most promising acts to represent Houston.

Today, the 713 rapper delivers his official music video for “Woods.” Produced by frequent collaborator Vegxs, Scotty drifts over the entrancing beat, spitting boastful lyrics. “Call me Woodsroll’d, Wilson baby you should know,” Scotty raps on the chorus. Director Elzdashoota captures a day in the life of Scotty Brown and friends as they enjoy Backwoods on a rooftop.

“Woods is a record that came to be after returning from NY to Houston after a year, all of my homies from Texas saw I picked up Backwoods over the hometown favorite Swisher Sweets and because I always had one rolled they nicknamed me WoodsRoll’d Wilson, a play on Woodrow Wilson. I thought it was a dope nickname and ran with it as the hook,” Scotty Brown shares with us.

Scotty Brown is currently finishing his senior year at the illustrious St. John’s University in NYC, but is expected to stir up a lot of attention as we enter 2018. Watch “Woods” above, and stay tuned for more releases from Scotty Brown.
