After establishing a large organic (and proud) fanbase through his appearances on BET, Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 and Atlanta’s Freshmen Class of 2017, newcomer Retro begins campaigning his forthcoming new mixtape Nine 1 with the release of the first single, “G Like.”

The song is a reference to his visit to California, and like everyone that visits the Golden State, he can’t wait to return. A great first offering for fans anticipating the next project and a great breakout for Retro on a wider scale.

Retro explains the new single:

I wrote the song at the end of my bed; I told myself that I have to key-in on places that made me fall in love with the Cali culture.
