Scoop B: Coach LaVar Ball Forfeits Double Pump Best of Summer Tournament Game Featuring LaMelo Ball

In case you missed it, LaVar Ball was ejected from an AAU basketball game on Saturday.

Coaching an AAU playoff game at the Double Pump Best of Summer Tournament in California. that also featured his son, LaMelo Ball, a UCLA commit, LaVar Ball pulled his team off the basketball court early after receiving a technical foul.

The technical foul was assessed after Ball argued a call with the ref. Coincidentally Ball’s Big Ballers AAU team had a 9-point lead at the time of the incident.

“That’s not a foul, that’s not a foul,” Ball said to ref.

“I’m not gonna have my guys playing hard and they cheating. I don’t play that s—.”

Ball’s son’s have been in the news the last few months. Their $495 Big Baller Brand sneakers have been the talk of the town even before Lonzo Ball became the number 2 pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft.
