Miami based lyricist, DYFL stepped into his 24th year feeling like the greatest so it was a no brainer for the him to embody Kobe Bryant, one of his idols, for the cover of his fifth independent release. The 24 EP showcases his growth, lyricism, and versatility as an artist while speaking on important topics such as police brutality and the thoughts that run through a black man’s head.
The project consists of 5 original songs that feature production from Pigg Beats, Musik Dae, JBlaize and Chris Prythm. From the thought provoking track “Do or Die” to his previously released radio-friendly single “Anything”, 24 acts as an appetizer as DYFL adds the finishing touches to his forthcoming album, Time is Everything.
“The passion, the pain, the hunger, the hard work, everything it takes to become an elite has made me stronger but it also made me humble. They may doubt me but they’ll NEVER defeat me.” – DYFL
