For most artists, the intense process of making music doesn’t always need to happen in a high-end studio. Sometimes hits can really be made in the comforts of one’s own home. Thanks to social media two very stellar artists were able to link up and do just that to work on a collab album. Check out the story below.
After discovering they have great collaborative chemistry during their exchange of a few features, artists David.Dorian and Oh.So.Lucid decided to get started on a collab album entitled Waves. While putting together the album they were able to develop a fresh and epic sound that definitely brings out the best in both of them. When explaining to RESPECT. how the collab came about, the artists revealed they did everything on this project by themselves and with no use of samples. They produced all the beats, wrote every lyric, and mixed and mastered the album all while never being in the same room once.
“We decided to name it Waves because we knew it would be a collection of different waves of sound, vibe, and emotion.”
The story behind the project and it’s outcome is very inspiring. Go ahead and check out the project below and let us know what you think.
