Director Spencer Sease perfectly captures an entrancing visual for up and coming 19-year-old hip-hop artist Miah Travis. From Chesapeake, Virginia comes Miah Travis, a buzzing artist that’s been making a lot of noise thanks to his smooth and soulful record, “Mona Lisa” (Prod. By Tokyo Trendz).
After a few busy months of prepping up for a life changing summer, he comes out of hiding to share the music video for the passionate track. In the visual, Miah powerfully delivers his lyrics in various extravagant scenes. As his settings fly by quickly, we truly find ourselves wrapped up in his words that paint a beautiful picture of our struggles.
“On the other hand, the story I decided to speak on is my upbringing in the church, being troubled by my sinful ways, and rather distraught by the idea of religion,” he tells RESPECT. through email.
Watch the visual for “Mona Lisa” below and keep on the lookout for his debut EP, Loose Ends, which could drop at any point in the coming weeks.
