New Jersey rapper/producer Kev Rodgers shares his highly anticipated project, B.A.D. Things.
Prior to this release, Kev Rodgers delivered boastful anthems “Test Your Luck” and “MyBad,” in an effort to build anticipation for B.A.D. Things.
We now have the 11-track body of work, which features production from Kil Confirmed, Kenif Muse, J-Louis, and Ordnry Yngsta, though Rodgers tackles a bulk of the soundscape for the project. Rodgers grabs frequent $outh$ide collaborators Kenif Muse, Mir Fontane, Ish Williams, and Shaqeyah for guest vocals, but also taps Bulgarian songstress Dorothy Takev for the intro’s chorus.
The acronym B.A.D. stands for “Beauty and Depression,” which stems from Rodgers’ outlook on life starting in 2016. Though Kev sees beauty in his accomplishments, he also battles with the depressing reality of struggles with family/friends, health, spirituality, and self-confidence.
By sharing his candid story on B.A.D. Things, Kev Rodgers hopes to encourage listeners to be themselves and spread positivity. Enjoy below!
